We would like to thank everyone at Skipton GC for their fantastic hospitality yesterday. Every single person we spoke to was fabulous, pro shop, starter, registration, bar, half way house, other golfers etc etc Proper Yorkshire hospitality, absolutely priceless. (more than  made up for the rubbish weather) The course is gorgeous , we will definitely be returning, had a great day. Many thanks to all of you.

Thank you for your handling of our funeral reception on Monday 4th Nov 24.  We feel it went off very well with the pleasant room which accommodated us easily and the excellent and plentiful buffet.  Thanks also to the helpful staff who helped out at the event.

I would like to thank Skipton golf club for allowing our society to play your course on Friday 19 Oct 24. All our party commented how well the course was presented, how friendly and welcoming everyone was at Skipton GC. In particular I would like to thank you, Karen, for the organisation of our visit, we spoke a number of times to confirm numbers, buggies and course conditions, nothing seemed to be too much trouble and on the day it ran very smoothly. Also I would like to thank Peter the professional, Gary in the office and the lady, apologies I did not get a name, serving the bacon buns, as I have already said all were helpful and friendly.  

We thoroughly enjoyed our day at Skipton GC and the society already wants a return visit in 2025.

I just wanted to pass on formally my thank you for everything the golf club did yesterday.  All of my guests commented on what a great club we have at Skipton. They were impressed with the food, service in the golf club, how friendly and welcoming Peter was and they were impressed with the course.  Those that have played Skipton previously also said its probably the best presented they have seen the course compared to previous visits.  Lastly big thanks to Tash, as always you and the team smashed it and its great to have a chef like Gary in the club. Dean Holmes (6 Sept 24)

I visited recently from the Midlands as a member of the 1893 clubs, as my wife was doing a charity walk across the Yorkshire Dales. The course was in great condition with some great feature holes with stunning backdrops. The Pro Peter, who I had contacted the week before, made sure I was well looked after and that members were on hand to go out with me, as I was on my own. It just so happened that it was Pro’s day and although it was very busy, I was able to play the course and access the 10th hole refreshments which was most welcome. I would also like to thanks the two gents who took the time to go round with me. DB

Warm welcome from the pro and catering staff. A good breakfast to start with. Very reasonable green fees. The course was in excellent condition considering the amount of rain in recent days. Great views of the surrounding countryside taken in on a well set out course that I would highly recommend. Phil Assassa

Back to it after 19yrs , very warm welcome back from Peter the pro also the members . The course it’s self is in very good condition,i was very happy to see this as I was a greenkeeper there for 14 ish years . Very well done to Ian, Darren and the rest of the lads who look after it . One of the friendliest and most welcoming golf clubs I’ve visited. The course is surrounded by spectacular views. Every hole is different and the holes over and around the river are challenging and memorable. Club house serves good wholesome food at reasonable price. Geoff Ward
