On Thursday 7 September 2023 Skipton held an invitational golf day for some 72 members of various Harrogate Union Golf Clubs. It is hoped that this will be the start of a new period in the history of Skipton GC as we move from the Bradford Union to the Harrogate Union in April 2024.
The results were:-
1st – Roger Moore (Skipton), David Wem, Graham Sharp, Tom Halliday (Knaresborough) – 93 Points.
2nd – Jonathan Smith (Skipton), Paul Monaghan, Chris King, Matt Creighton (Thirsk & Northallerton) – 90 Points
Ladies – Sarah Howes (Skipton), Julie Gibbs, Karen Ritter, Mary Kennedy (Rudding Park) – 84 Points
