Two Skipton Golf Club junior members, both up-and-coming young lady golfers, have achieved high profile competition coups at county and regional level.
Charlotte Moore (15) from Carleton, Skipton won a Yorkshire Ladies County Golf Association Junior competition at Huddersfield Golf Club, while Lottie Tole (13) who lives in Kildwick teed up victory in the Northcliffe Golf Club, Shipley, Junior Open.
Charlotte’s handicap is now down to 26.6, with Lottie Tole similar at 27. Both have been playing at Skipton for just two seasons, having made great progress via the tuition of Ben Mallinson, PGA coach at Skipton, and more recently under Lucy Eaton, part of Joe Lovery Golf Coaching, which is also affiliated to SGC. Lucy lives in Skipton and is a well-known face at her local club.
