Two friendlies at home this week brought two hard fought victories. The 4-2 win against Bedale was not quite enough to compensate for the loss at Bedale and the newly acquired Skipdale trophy headed back up the A1. Similarly, Skipton's 3-2 victory against Shipley Beckfoot meant the visitors still took the tie on aggregate. Both visiting teams commented on the excellent condition of the course. The final match of this season is away at Ripon on Thursday next where we are defending a narrow lead.
