Membership
Skipton Golf Club is currently open to new membership applications
and the required forms can be obtained from our Business
Manager. All new applications will be handled quickly. Or

Our
membership runs from 1 November to 31 October.
Membership
We
are now able to offer Membership at Skipton Golf Club without
the necessity of paying a one-off Joining Fee.
However, because Skipton Golf Club is a Limited Company,
each new Full Member must purchase six shares in the company
at a cost of £50.00 each. A Share Certificate will be issued
and the shares will remain the property of the new member
until such time as they resign from the golf club or cease
to become a member for any other reason.
At the point of resigning, the Member’s name will be placed
on a Register of Shares for Sale, the Share Certificate
surrendered. A refund of £300 will be made to the resigning/resigned
Member once their name reaches the top of the register and
a new Member joins the Club,.

Country
Membership
We
now have vacancies for 'Country Membership'.
In order to apply for this membership category you:
a) must reside more than 20 miles away from Skipton Golf
Club
b) must be a member of another club which must be your ‘home’
club for handicap purposes
c) will not be eligible to play in Club knock-out or ‘trophy’
competitions
It is not necessary to purchase shares in 'SGC Ltd' and
you will not be eligible to vote at the club AGM.
Verification of your residential status will be required
with your application form and confirmation of your home
club membership will be required each time the yearly subscription
is renewed
